My name is Moira Maranski and I am a digital illustrator of the whimsically moody and magical. I work primarily with digital tools (Procreate, Photoshop, and Clip Studio Paint) but I always strive to keep traditional feel in my pieces. The goal for every piece I create is to harness a sense of wonder, light, and expression - carving light in to negative space. My favorite subjects to illustrate are young adult and middle-grade kidlit, along with whimsical fantasy settings. I am a huge fan of fantasy, D&D, period dramas/romance novels, magical girls, and a smattering of spooky/creepy ambiance. I can be found at any given moment with a new story in my hands, and my ever present cup of coffee that somehow is always mysteriously full.
